Keen to test winter bathing?
Good to remember
- Start carefully, early in spring or in autumn and gradually get used to it, preferably having a sauna first.
- Do not stay in the water too long -5 to 20 seconds can be enough.
- Do not dip your head under the water if you are a beginner.
- Use a ladder so that you can easily get up out of the water.
- Never do winter bathing alone or under the influence of alcohol.
